The new models include the 695 Competizione, Punto SuperSport and 500 Cabrio Italia. Touted to be Abarth’s “first street legal racing car,” this Abarth hold only two black leather seats.  According to reports, the back seat will be replaced with a roll bar. Under the hood, look for a 178 bhp/184 lb.ft. of torque.  This 1.4 L turbo gasoline engine is meshed with a five speed electromechanical gearbox that is matched up with steering wheels paddles.  Consumers of the 695 will have a choice of “street” (automatic) or “track” (manual) modes. Koni shocks and bigger brakes as well as, “Record Monza” exhaust makes this Abarth LOUD especially when revving above 3000 rpm.  The 695 is capable of reaching top speeds of 140 mph and tackles 0-62 mph in 7 seconds. The Punto SuperSport will receive the same engine as the 695.  However, it will have 199 lb.ft. of torque and a six speed manual transmission.  Like the 695, the SuperSport will receive Koni shock absorbers and larger brakes.   This Abarth will take off from 0-62 mph in 7.5 seconds.  Its top speed is 134 mph.  The luxurious FIAT Abarth 500 Cabrio Italia “was designed to celebrate 150 years of Italian unity.”  This Abarth model will receive the 500 Esseesse’s 158 bhp, 1.4 litre turbo engine and a five speed manual transmission.  The 500 Cabrio Italia will rocket to 62 mph in 7.4 seconds and the top speed is 131 mph.
